Dr. Ankur Sharma is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon With practice in Rohini, Narela, Bawana and nearby areas. He has expertise in the treatment of all kinds of orthopaedics, in primary and revision Joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries. His special interest is in knee replacement surgery which he developed during his research on knee arthroplasty. His thesis under the guidance of Dr. Lalit Maini (Ex-President of Delhi Orthopaedic Association) titled “Evaluation of difference of knee kinematics in single radius vs multi radii total knee arthroplasty” for which he was awarded the best thesis/research article in 2015 by the Delhi Orthopaedic Association. He has done his MBBS at The University College of Medical Sciences from 2006 to 2010. After completing his internship he joined the government of NCT of Delhi as a Medical Officer at Maharishi Valmiki Hospital. He did his ms in orthopaedics at Maulana Azad Medical College from 2013 to 2016. During this period he did active research and published articles in various journals of national and international repute. After completing his MS in Orthopaedics he joined the largest Delhi government Hospital i.e. Lok Nayak Hospital as a senior resident in 2016. Till 2019 while working as a senior resident not only did he perform 1000 independent surgeries but also he taught the future generation of doctors passing out from Maulana Azad Medical College.
